  1. "No-fault" evictions aren't about landlords wantonly throwing good tenants out on the street. They are about providing a safety net for landlords who have bad tenants and don't want to go through many months of hell, and lots of expense, dragging them through the courts. My father was a very good landlord, who charged far lower rents than he could have got. I'll never forget the hell he went through evicting a really bad, evil tenant, who totally wrecked her rooms when the courts (after more than half a year) finally made her leave. Without safeguards far fewer will risk letting out property.
