This was a drug that was regarded as very safe, but it had UNFORESEEN, and devastating, consequences. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines (the ones given to younger people) are mRNA vaccines. This is new technology so there is no way we can be sure that there will not be UNFORESEEN adverse effects in the future. In such a situation MEDICAL ETHICS demands that such a vaccine should only be administered to those who will reap a significant benefit TO THEMSELVES!
