  1. Well, lots of us keep repeating the obvious solution. Nationalise all the energy producers within the UK, and UK territorial waters, without any compensation. Then the energy can be distributed in the UK at the cost of producing it. The urgent needs of 10s of millions override the obscene salaries of CEOs and shareholder dividends. Only a few rich bastards would be upset by this.
