  1. Just like in education there is an opportunity to deliver massive savings, almost instantly, by cutting out private advertising and private agencies. The government should provide a website where all UK NHS vacancies can be freely advertised. It should also set up an agency to supply temporary staff at cost. These two things really would deliver big savings, AND make things much easier for both those seeking staff and those looking for work.
