  1. As well as £80,000 there are very generous expenses, which MPs have previously been exposed fiddling outrageously. £80,000 is about 3 times more than the majority of the population earns. And what do we get for this, because, let's face it the majority of MPs aren't particularly bright. For the kind of service MPs provide to us they are very handsomely remunerated!
