Those of us who aren't brain dead have been decrying the senseless isolation of perfectly healthy doctors and nurses, who would be doing so much good if they were at work. Most people with Omicron don't even notice that they have it. For those that do notice it's no worse than a MILD cold. Of course, to pour petrol on the fire, our insane government seems hell bent on sacking 10% of NHS staff who aren't vaccinated, even though almost all possess vastly better natural immunity.

Ministers won't care. They can get excellent private treatment almost instantly. A year ago £3000 bought me the services of a top notch specialist surgeon, for an operation I would otherwise still be waiting for.
