Despite being more than twice the size, and with land better suited to cultivation and animal husbandry, France now has a smaller population than Britain. France is a stunningly beautiful country, with a better climate and an incredibly rich cultural heritage. It also has a better health service, and probably better schools too. So the idiots in Westminster need to ask themselves what the hell Britain is doing so wrong that people who reach France would rather move on to Britain, often at serious risk to their lives.
