  2. Barclays, like other high street banks, also screws its customers as well as its staff. Got lots of savings, and want a fair return on them? Well dream on if you bank with Barclays. They loudly trumpet the "Blue Rewards" scheme. HOWEVER, no matter how much money you might have in your account you won't be eligible for this scheme unless you deposit each month the kind of money that most can't afford to. Our spineless, useless government promised that the regulatory authority would put an end to this rip off by the end of August, but bugger all has been done!
