  1. Blame dishonest, jealous teachers. They should be telling their students just how much a good tradesman, like a plumber makes. And that they don't have to work anywhere near as hard, and probably enjoy their jobs a lot more.

  2. So true. Mind you there's a woman living next door to me who didn't go to university. She is not far off 60, and has never done a proper day's work in her life, preferring to sponge off her father, and brothers.

  3. You are right about the low standards. So many 1st and upper 2nd class degrees are now awarded that one wonders if many get anything lower anymore.

  4. There are an awful lot of Noddy degrees specially for people of low intelligence. Their real purpose is to keep 10s of thousands of none too bright lecturers from begging in the street.
