Let's be frank. There's a fundamental reason Boris is still there. It's because all those lined up to take his place are as bad as him, if not worse. This is the ONLY reason many Tory MPs haven't sent in their letters of no confidence. It's a case of better this devil you know than a far worse one. What we really need are a few like Desmond Swayne to throw their hat in the ring, because an almost total clean out of the current cabinet is required.
