Phil, you may not be prepared to say it publicly, but we all know that the UK and US governments tied our brave soldiers' hands behind their backs, stopping them doing the job properly, and getting it done. They should have been allowed to hit the Taliban camps and safe havens in Pakistan. Since the reason given for going into Afghanistan was to remove a safe haven for terrorists, it is completely illogical that they were allowed to find sanctuary over the border in Pakistan. Bleeding heart liberals, whose bravest deed is changing lanes on the motorway, also helped the Taliban. They made a fuss about alleged abuses of terrorist prisoners, getting Guantanamo Bay shut down, and good soldiers like Alexander Blackman jailed.
