  1. Patrick, those of us with a brain know that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance, and a determination to protect it. Because once you give up your freedom it's incredibly hard to get it back again. If we had honest, decent MPs then we wouldn't have a problem, because the the vast majority would vote against extending this dictatorship. Unfortunately, most MPs are self-serving cowards, who are far more interested in looking after their own narrow interests than those of the constituents who trusted and elected them.
