  4. There are undoubtedly some good MPs, like David Amess who was murdered. But the fact is that most MPs are regarded as self-serving cheats and liars, who would sell their own mothers. And just look at our PM and cabinet, who have been selling the UK down the river for years. Is it then any wonder that MPs are held in such contempt?
