  1. The real mess was made by those who implemented the totally unnecessary covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions. Admittedly Sunak was in the cabinet, and therefore bears some responsibility for this. BUT, in the face of staunch Tory backbench opposition, there would never have been the numbers to do this without the unstinting support for No.10 from Starmer and Labour!
