  1. I have to say when I saw pictures of those fleeing the Taliban advance I understood why America, and its allies, wanted out. Many of those fleeing women weren't just (voluntarily) wearing burkas, they even had a mesh covering their eyes. You wouldn't know there was a human being underneath. I can't see the Taliban attacking these women. Not only were they doing exactly what the Taliban command, but they were going the extra mile! And then we have lots of fit young men fleeing. If they aren't prepared to fight then why should Americans and British fight for them? Show me women dressed normally and men prepared to defend their freedom and loved ones. Only then should we even consider asking our lads to risk their lives.
