The way we deal with drugs is yet another example of dumb-ass politicians NOT listening to the science. All that the decades of these failed policies have done is to line the pockets of gangsters by making what would otherwise be virtually worthless very expensive. It has also fueled a staggering amount of crime by those who will do anything to afford their fix. Anyone other than a half-wit politician can see that we need to treat ALL drugs more like alcohol and tobacco. Educate people about their dangers, try to make consumption much safer for those who won't listen, and try to help them kick their habit. Without high drug prices a staggering amount of crime would disappear overnight. By the way, I don't do drugs, or smoke, and only have an occasional drink.
