As someone with years of experience who has taught in all-boys, all-girls, and mixed schools I can tell you, without the slightest doubt, that by far the best way of helping girls is to have all-girls schools. Girls do better without having boys around. However, this would mean having all-boys schools, and boys do worse without having girls around. So I won't hold my breath on seeing new all-girls schools.
