Did Maddox ever consider the possibility that this was done precisely to make sure there was only one contender, and stop the civil war in the Conservative party which is tearing it apart, and would hand Starmer the next election on a plate? I really dislike Rich Boy Sunak, but I would get down on my hands and knees and lick his boots everyday rather than see Starmer as PM. I struggle to express the level of disgust and contempt I feel for Starmer, and hope he will never become PM.
