  1. As usual, when Putin says one thing you can be certain he means the opposite. Putin favours Trump massively because he is hoping that Trump will stop supporting Ukraine and remove sanctions against Russia. Putin hopes to put people off voting for Kamala. One thing we can be sure of is that Putin will do everything he can to hang onto power until the Presidential election. So the West needs to do everything in its power to make this as difficult as possible for him.
