  1. Rather than be scared by raw numbers, let's put this into perspective, with regard to population size. India's population is about 20 times that of the UK. So this is the equivalent of when the UK was recording 20,000 cases a day. One should do a similar calculation with deaths. It's RATES per million population that matter. When you look at these you soon realise that even if India is massively under reporting it is still doing much better than many other countries including the UK.
