  1. Eventually these countries will have to open up to the rest of the world. And when they do, like the Terminator, covid-19 WILL BE BACK. So, unless they have vaccinated most people in the meantime, we will see a return to headless chicken lockdowns. Of course, thanks to vaccination, and natural immunity in those who have recovered, we now have, or are extremely close to, herd immunity in the UK. So, other than cowardly and power hungry ministers, there is absolutely no rational reason why we shouldn't drop all restrictions. They simply aren't needed over here anymore, and neither are vaccine passports. Life can't be lived on the premise of the worst "what if" scenarios, which is exactly what is now happening in he UK.
