  12. Just talked to my sister and I previously got the details of her treatment costs wrong in favour of the bad guys. A few months ago she went for a CT scan, and a endoscopic exam down her throat. Altogether this cost her slightly over £3000. But the worst part of this is that the medical staff saw only about one quarter of this money. Is it any wonder then that Luigi's use of the word PARASITES resonates with so many people?

  28. This attack on innocent young people at a music event is indeed an atrocity, and Putin would dearly love to blame it on Ukraine. He must be really furious that ISIS claimed responsibility so quickly and so publicly. Of course, Putin is probably reasonably happy in the knowledge that most of those people who died were probably opposed to him.

  35. All this is a distraction from the uncomfortable truth, that BOTH parties are culpable for. There are two overriding reasons that schools don't have enough good STEM teachers. First and foremost is that anyone with a good degree, that isn't in a Noddy subject, can get a better paid and much less stressful job than teaching in a school, where the classroom behaviour is appalling and bullying by management is endemic. The second reason is that most schools are unwilling to hire experienced teachers who are near the top of the pay scale. Indeed a goodly number even "encourage" their more expensive teachers to leave.
