As I've just posted. The reason we are now researching this is there seems to be a need to constantly generate something new, (supposedly) about covid-19 in order to keep people frightened.

Am I the only one who gets the feeling that as quickly as one covid-19 boggy man is dispatched another one is thought up in order to keep the scaremongering going? First we had the death rate grossly overestimated. Then we had the lie that you could catch covid-19 again. As people got wise to these lies we seemed to have virtually every symptom you could think of being claimed as a covid-19 indicator. Now that this too has run out of steam, and is no longer frightening people, the new boggy man on the block is that an infection is going to plague you for months or even longer. I wonder what they will think up next once this stops scaring people? Yes, covid-19 is 2 or 3 times as deadly as flu. But as flu isn't that deadly who really gives a monkey's? For f**k's sake! We are not dealing with Ebola, or antibiotic resistant bubonic plague. As I've already said, only the most feeble-minded and fervent cowards worry about covid-19. Stop worrying and start living again.

Actually even most of the under 80's have very little to worry about. I feel so sorry for all those businesses and self-employed who have been needlessly crucified. If this farcical debacle had unfolded 30 years ago I'd have gone from being one of the top few percent of earners, with my own house, to being back with my parents, or on the street. What so many governments have done is cowardly and shameful. Only Sweden seems to have got it right, and even they are paying, in some degree, for other governments' craven mismanagement.
