  1. In reply to these points: 1. Although the piles go down a hundred meters flying something straight into one, or using a shaped explosive charge should be able to damage it sufficiently. 2. As a major supply route the Kerch bridge is without question a military target. So Ukraine would be completely justified in using those Storm Shadows against it. 3. Being Putin's personal project makes it even more important to take it out. The very public humiliation of having the bridge made completely unusable would seriously undermine Putin. 4. Again not a good reason. Stuff goes across the bridge because it is by far the easiest and most effective way to get it to the front line! 5. There are still other escape routes. Removing what's by far the easiest and quickest one might encourage Orcs to attempt a much earlier escape, and having the bridge cut off would certainly panic them. 6. Does anyone intelligent still seriously think that negotiation with Putin is possible? The man is a deranged psychopath for whom success in Ukraine is now existential. His "removal" from power is an absolute necessity for lasting peace.
