Nobody will cry when Putin subsequently murders Prigozhin. It's hard to believe he really thinks Putin will let him live after this. Once he started his mutiny he had no choice but to see it through if he wants a chance at living. I can only guess that he was banking on support that didn't materialise. If he doesn't somehow end Putin then Putin will most certainly hunt him down.
