  1. Unlike scheming Modi, Raju is right. One evaluates how good or useful something is. This is the sole basis on which you retain or discard it. An excellent example, for India, is the English language. All well-off and educated Indians are fluent in it. It gives them massive opportunities that they would otherwise not have. Not making it the lingua franca of the entire country has absolutely nothing to do with shedding colonialism, and everything to do with keeping India's countless millions of poor people "in their place": in some respects the caste system is very much still thriving.
