'fears bridges with Moscow & Putin are going to be broken' Aha! That's what so many of us have been saying all along. The uncomfortable truth is that Germany WANTS Ukraine to lose, and to do so as quickly as possible, so that it can resume business with Russia. One would have thought that with their history Germans, more than any other country, would appreciate how important it is not to appease the likes of Putin: perhaps he needs to grow a moustache. Poland has a fraction of Germany's wealth, but look how much the Poles have opened their hearts and their wallets to Ukraine.
