  1. Not could be less dangerous, IS less dangerous. Weeks ago South African doctors assessed Omicron as EXTREMELY MILD, and there has been no subsequent evidence that contradicts this. Coupled with high transmissibility, this variant might very well quickly and SAFELY spread herd immunity, and bring this pandemic to an end. That's if politicians keep their meddling and incompetent hands off it.
