In order to prevent further such acts it's absolutely imperative that Ukraine blows up a Russian dam of similar size and importance, or responds with something in kind that is just as big and significant for Russia, ASAP. This is the ONLY language Russia understands, and if it had expected an equal response then this would never have happened, and we wouldn't now be worrying about Zaporizhzhia. However causing a radioactive leak here could be an own goal, as prevailing westerly winds might blow a lot of any leaked radioactivity straight into Russia.
