  1. "Optimistic", really? We are nightly shown the numbers in hospital, which are dropping fast. However, this lags behind the hospitalisation RATE, which we are deliberately not shown because it is by far the most important metric, and it is PLUMMETING. This is the evidence, staring our cowardly government in the face! The R number and number of infections NO LONGER MATTER, because with over 14 million of the most vulnerable now vaccinated very few of these infections will now lead to hospitlisations. They will be shrugged off with less ado than a bad cold. It's time to end ALL this dictatorial Chicken Little panic.
