  1. Genuine volunteers who are keen to serve their country. What a contrast to Putin's lies saying he had to mobilise 300,018 rather than just 300,000, because so many wanted to fight for him.

  2. What most people don't understand is that nuclear weapons need a lot of very technical and very expensive maintenance. I recall reading that plutonium metal has 6 different solid phases! The US has been carrying out this maintenance. It's very likely that Russia hasn't. Even if some money was provided for it, in a corrupt country like Russia it's highly likely that the money was embezzled and the paperwork falsified. After all the only time time the people will get found out is when Putin tries to use his nukes and gets an unpleasant surprise. At that stage in the game getting caught for embezzlement is the least of ones worries.
