  1. The observations so far, by South African doctors, characterise this variant as EXTREMELY MILD. In fact I think I've read that it hasn't hospitalised or killed a single person! But here is most governments' strategy. Delay as long as possible coming out and repeating what the SA doctors have noticed, in the hope that this assessment will change. If this assessment does not change then vigorously deny and censor the findings. Because governments really do not want a variant that might quickly and SAFELY bestow PROPER NATURAL IMMUNITY on many millions. People would then find out the truth of how much they have lied about natural immunity, and loose their fear of this virus. This is what is really frightening most governments. I want to rename Omicron the Fluffy Kitten variant.
