  1. Tim, have you become a government stooge? Nothing that you said is incorrect, BUT it is highly misleading in one respect: AGE. As a statistician you should be well aware that a totally different picture emerges when age is taken into account. Somewhere between 60 and 70 the relative risks posed by flu and covid-19 change. For those below this age range flu is more deadly. And the younger one is the greater the risk from flu, compared to covid-19, becomes. The incontrovertible fact is that for most people, if they are not worried by flu then they should be even less worried by covid-19!
