  2. Tim, as you and I both know, the PCR test ultimately detects certain pieces of this virus, both from whole virus particles and those which have already been broken up. What it emphatically cannot do is say whether a person is infected. In the case of vaccinated people there is a good chance that what is being picked up is a very small viral load that the immune system will clear within the next 12 or so hours, or fragments of virus that the immune system has already dispatched. The PCR test is like the grain of rice on a chessboard tale: it is incredibly sensitive, and was never intended to be used in the manner the government is using it in. Unfortunately most people are far too scientifically illiterate to understand any of this.
