  1. Supporting Russia's war economy doesn't come cheap, and is unsustainable in the long term. However, when it all comes tumbling down, and Putin is no longer able to hide it from ordinary Russians is much harder to predict in the kind of timescales that matter. Let's not forget that Putin is gambling big on Trump pulling support for Ukraine.

  4. Things were looking extremely bad for Putin, but Trump has given him hope. Without Trump indicating a willingness to sell Ukraine down the river a palace coup was looking more and more likely. If Trump had been in Churchill's place in 1939 we would now all be speaking German.

  5. What's just happened in Syria, and what's happening in Ukraine, clearly shows that Russia's military machine is nowhere near as good as some would like us to believe. It's time that those regions that want out of Putin's Russian Federation realised this and made their bid for freedom.

  6. J'espère que Zelensky comprend l'extrême urgence d'infliger le plus de dégâts possible à la Russie avant que Trump ne devienne président. Et détruire le pont de Kertch, si cher à Poutine, avant que cela n'arrive serait une décision vraiment sage.
