  1. The striking doctors are not GPs. They are junior doctors who, far from working 3 day weeks, are worked to the bone. For decades BOTH parties have degraded the pay and conditions of doctors and nurses. It was obvious that a day of reckoning was coming, but those in power simply gambled on it not happening on their watch.
