  1. Schools can't stand being criticised, especially when those criticisms are valid. Until recently you could get an idea of what many schools were like, from Google Reviews. I posted comments on quite a few that were completely factual and much appreciated by parents. Unfortunately thin-skinned headteachers managed to persuade Google to remove all school reviews, so now it's very hard for parents to get an independent review on a school. Before someone suggests it, no sensible person believes a word that Ofsted says.
