  1. The way the police were used during this pandemic has certainly seriously undermined my trust in them. I used to have a fairly high regard for them. But watching them turn into Hancock's Gestapo has made me question this. Instead of protecting people from real crime they seemed far more interested in persecuting people for not wearing masks, for visiting beauty spots, and exercising their inviable right to public protest.
