"We have a group of patients for whom a virus poses a negligible risk, and who after contracting it and recovering will have excellent natural immunity, that may well last them a lifetime. Should we vaccinate them?" You wouldn't even have to add that the vaccines in question had been rushed through and weren't 100% safe.

  38. I struggle to appreciate just how thick Russian officialdom, and their military, is. How can anyone who is compos mentis say something like that when everyone can see the floods? And then we have the ludicrous claims that Ukraine destroyed their own dam. One that is of immense value to them when they eradicate the Orc infestation from their land. Also, such dams are extremely robust, so it's exceedingly unlikely that a strike by any of the missiles Ukraine has access to could do anywhere near this much damage. To do this you need to have the opportunity to carefully place lots of explosives, which only the Russians were in a position to do.

  45. Very silly woman. At her age the risk posed by covid-19 is negligible, so why take a vaccine. I wonder if she pays to have the flu vaccine each year: she probably does. More to the point a young person who catches covid-19 will hardly even notice it. BUT after they recover they WILL have natural immunity, which may be far better than that provided by any vaccine. It may be much longer lasting and may also offer better protection against future variants and similar viruses. This young woman has now lost that chance.
