  1. The South African doctors have been very clear that the symptoms of this variant are EXTREMELY MILD. It should probably be called the Fluffy Kitten variant. The government has, for some time now, been gagging to reintroduce masks, and probably also cancel Christmas. This very innocuous variant is simply a pathetic excuse, which only the most gullible will swallow. The government's real concern is that this very low risk variant will spread, and give lots more people excellent NATURAL IMMUNITY, while doing hardly any harm. This, to say the least, would be very embarrassing to them.
