Agreed. Doesn't matter what "agenda" people believe was at work behind it all. Women believed the message because they wanted to believe the message. Women believe what they want to believe.

I'm not sure how much "societally benefitting, meritorious wealth" was actually represented here. It seemed to be a poorly designed craft, a cavalier operator and much inherited money. So a poor take overall from Andrew. It didn't fit his narrative no matter how much he would have liked it to. Aside from that however, ANY pleasure taken in their demise was abhorrent. Irrespective of their social status. In fact I found the minute-to-minute fascination with their fate unpleasant full stop. I had absolutely no appetite to intrude into their grief/turmoil and tried to avoid the coverage altogether.

@angrydragon4574 It's really not. Women believe what they want. If feminism was selling something unpalatable that they didn't want to believe, then they wouldn't follow it. There's lots of things they chose not to believe/follow (irrespective of how true they are) simply because they don't like the message. Look how much they prefer believing in lies like body positivity rather than listening to medical professionals. They'd far rather get fat than put in physical exercise and stop poking themselves full of treats
