@danielle4295 Thank God for your balanced response. Genuinely! Can you imagine what system of laws we'd be living under if "heroes" like @itsmikelake had their way? Women would effectively be immune from arrest/prosecution for sexual misconduct because (and I quote) police "should be ashamed of themselves" for even thinking of holding her accountable. What the actual hell? The reality is this is the EXACT equivalent of a male pleasuring himself on a public beach with kids present. There would have been absolutely ZERO tolerance or 'forgiveness' of that and everyone would want the police to intervene. And rightly so! You can't have two separate systems of justice operating in tandem just because "hero" @itsmikelake believes women can't be treated as adults with the agency to make their own decisions. Can you even imagine what type of poor behaviour that lack of criminal accountability would foster amongst half of the population?
