Women objectify themselves and most female body modification is driven by women getting into a p!ssing contest with one another. The interview is important in one sense above all however and Gluck is correct. Women are NOT inchoate or defective men. They are entirely formed human beings with complete AGENCY and autonomy. THIS is the message that needs to be driven home in society. Significantly, the interview is littered by both sides giving examples of laws etc which favour women. Laws which, for example, only men can be prosecuted for. Laws which say only women may practice a certain job. The problem is Gluck and the interviewer happily invoke these examples in support of their point while failing to highlight the obvious problem; that they are laws which treat women as having less agency in the world. This is RIFE within criminal, family and employment law. And the fatal issue is that WOMEN are content to invoke this lessened agency where it benefits them. Now for the killer. Most of the modern developments towards trans-centric thinking are driven by female thinking. By personal feelings being given primacy over objective fact. It's NOT men driving this. It's not misogyny. Women have to accept their role (at the risk of labouring the point-their agency) in creating the issue. Yes, some men will take advantage of this. Some men are perverts. Some men just want an easier ride (they recognise the legal benefits of identifying as a woman). But that isn't misogyny. And it certainly isn't being driven by men. That particular charge fails to survive any encounter with logic or evidence, for the reasons set out above.
