  1. I've realised it's not really a question of jealousy with them anymore. It "shows up" as jealousy I grant you but it's more just a constant expression of their extractive nature.  Their jealousy isn't really anything you can prevent as long as they remain interested in you. It just means theres more they still want out of you that they're concerned will go to some other recipient instead. When they no longer want more from you they cease to harbour jealousy. It's sad but true. While theres nothing you can do about that-the realisation it's an avaricious instinct should at least give you a disgust response rather than (as they typically rely upon/profit from) a sympathetic response. Move accordingly.
