I drew exactly the same parallel as you without having seen your comment. Correct. It's essentially The Little Red Hen parable by another name. The trouble is the parable already exists. This channel is just becoming an exercise in describing things we already know using novel analogies. Novel analogies are not solutions. Don't mistake the two things. People are literally getting mesmerised by hearing old wisdom re-packaged (in this instance using sexy Tate/business speak) and thinking it's delivering a practical solution. It isn't.

@hungrybeaverontheleaver I particularly like the bit where she bridles at the idea of paying 50/50 and sharing basic living duties. As though a woman wouldn't have cooking to do or bills to pay in the absence of a man. Lol. Samantha, we all know you're after a free ride these days. Or at the VERY least looking for a better deal than you offer yourself. It's OK. It's female nature. But it IS difficult to have respect for it. Just saying.

You Americans already have a parable for this. It's called the Tale of the Little Red Hen. I'm about done with this channel now. It's just an exercise in describing things we already know using novel analogies. Novel analogies are not solutions. Don't mistake the two things. This is not a solution oriented channel. Sorry.

Nah.

Lol. What's to stop you "making your own money" while being with a man on his way up? I doubt he's preventing you from making money. The only person preventing you from making money is you. You know this of course, so it still (basically) circles back to you being mercenary.

Precisely. Which is probably what is called for. ie MUCH better clarity of thought. Generally speaking, only women benefit from the original, intoxicating love fee fees on divorce. Far better for men to wake up.

He hasn't "built a business". He's a self-employed psychologist. A business is something that operates independent of the founder and is something that somebody else would therefore pay money to acquire. If he wasn't there to do counselling sessions then the practice would cease to exist. No. What he has is a psychology practice and has recently enjoyed some traction on YouTube.

@Letsplay222 Not really. Businesses are a risk. Careers come with "career paths" And don't come with equity. Both involve work but the risk element is fundamentally different. So different in fact as to not be comparable.

@Letsplay222 The risk/reward factor is critical to the point of the video. Ignoring that means you fail to grasp the point of the video to begin with. Even if the video is itself flawed.
