Nah it's not even because of that. Orion's talking nonsense. If theres imbalance on chores it's typically because women are more neurotic. They're not cleaning up FOR the man, they're cleaning up because they're more neurotic/fastidious about tidiness. Ie he's not asking her to/demanding that she does an "unbalanced" share, (he's perfectly happy in less fastidious conditions), she's just doing it anyway because they're HER neurotic standards, getting angry about it and venting at him because he's there to vent at.

@samiamgreeneggsandham7587 As a useful rule of thumb, you can reliably assume the woman isn't doing anything FOR the man. In this scenario, the idea she's dutifully compensating for a shortfall in wages is for the birds. It was an alarmingly naive comment. Whatever she's doing, you can assume she's doing principally for her own reasons. No need to look beyond that.

@Doberman_6773 I've had numerous experiences of this down the years (in it's various incarnations) to know it's nothing to do with compensating for wage discrepancies. One female I was seeing recently had a nervous breakdown whenever I set a cup down or moved the 'wrong' cushions on the sofa. She found it difficult to understand why I didn't want a relationship with her. Can you imagine the lack of peace trying to relax in a home like that? I'm not a farmyard animal-I don't sit wallowing in my own filth-yet that was essentially how I would have been treated. No thanks. It's zero to do with making up for a wage gap. It's entirely to do with the woman having her own neurotic standards and enforcing them on you as a man. There is zero empathy or consideration involved (the opposite is in fact true) and the video was fundamentally flawed in as far as it touched upon this.
