1:06:26 This was the most naive, low-resolution thinking I think I've heard on the subject. I was actually astonished to hear it coming from a person who is supposed to have studied intersexual relationships in depth. If women have a never ending laundry list of requirements in a mate....and men have very few requirements of a mate....who do you THINK is more likely going to be adjudged "at fault" for causing the end of a relationship? Women need more emotional labour, more attention, more resource investment and they place themselves (and their happiness) at the centre of a relationship. Quite simply there is a metric sh!t ton more things men can "get wrong" in the eyes of a woman to cause her to "not be happy" than vice versa. I was blown away by the ignorance of the basic premises this particular comment highlighted.

Lol! Do you think women are seeking "balanced support" in a heterosexual relationship? Or do you think they're perhaps seeking a relationship where the VAST MAJORITY of the support flows in their direction? Have you ever uttered one honest remark on the subject?

1:20:29 Just on a point of order, you're confusing entrepreneurship with freelancing. Entrepreneurship creates something greater than the individual, so that the entrepreneur can step outside of the entity and the business can run without him. It creates opportunities for other people and the thing created can then be sold as a going concern. It has a life and purpose of it's own. Freelancers generate their own work in a way that looks similar to entrepreneurship but if they stop doing the work, by definition the work stops. They don't create value beyond themselves as an individual. They are the work. People use the term "entrepreneur" because it's sexier but I think Americans especially should have a real appreciation of what an entrepreneur is. It's what the success of the country is built on.

@user-yf4hv8vr3q Cringing hard at your ability to interpret my comment as "feminist". Lol. That's clearly enough internet for you today.

@AnteLene Not that it matters terribly (because I'm sure he's a successful author with good sales) but that one comment actually cost him a sale from me. I'd seen the recommendation for his book and was actually looking for something to read next week...so I was primed to buy...but when I heard that remark I just thought wow! It just struck me it would be a monumental waste of time bothering with it!

@kalbsleber As men, I don't think we're taught about women very well. At all. But I will say this; when we learn, we really learn. Onward and upward!

@kalbsleber Gives me no pleasure to hear that my friend! Hopefully you can console yourself in the fact that you are far from alone. I would say it's most men's experience.
