  1. It's virtually meaningless to be perfectly honest. You might as well just say: "love but don't expect anything back". Or at least don't get angry at not getting anything back. And thats fine, I'd agree. But you have to at least be alert to not getting anything back otherwise-as you say-you'll just get taken advantage of. The sun shines anyway. It's not going out of it's way for anyone. We just happen to benefit from it's rays-but that's neither here nor there to the sun, so it'd have no reason to resent anyones "lack of gratitude". On the other hand, people who seek our "love" are not merely seeking to bask in our indifferent presence, they're seeking something performative from us for their own ends. It's another silly metaphor really, which the channel is apparently seeking to specialise in. Just say "don't get mad at people for the things you'd do freely anyway". Not "love like the sun". How on earth (literally) are we supposed to relate to a massive ball of plasma fuelled by nuclear fusion?
