@ThorMaximus They leave if you don't eventually offer them security. Very uncommon for any other outcome to occur. It's insoluble basically unless you're eventually prepared to offer marriage. Which is when your leverage plummets. And you'll be back to square one. Just being real. Good to hear you've "levelled up" (for your own sake) but don't be fooled into thinking you've found a panacea. You've just deferred the inevitable somewhat.

And (realistically) keep doing that. Every time it happens. With each subsequent partner. Which is the bit that doesn't get mentioned because-while good advice-it eventually becomes tedious.

@TheMCat11 Yes, I'm saying thats the alternative. But it brings the relationship to an end. Just being clear about how these things play out. You retain 'control' (if you want to look at it that way) but probability wise it still ends. In other words you don't "level up" and then complete the game as winner. You just defer when the relationship ends a bit.
