  1. What she is saying also has an analogue with Israel and Palestine. Prior to the establishment of Israel, Jews and Muslims lived in the area in a peaceful and multicultural setting. But then Israel was established as a land exclusively for the Jewish people. It created distinctions and walls between people where previously there was none :( There is no need to erect these walls between people.
